A Little Place to Grow is located in our family home and offers your child a safe, comfortable and engaging environment to learn and explore.
We are a nature-based, or forest preschool meaning we learn while we explore, play, create, read, sing and imagine oustide. Each week we will have a theme around which lessons, projects, and experiments will be built.
Important parts of our daily structure include self directed play and exploration outside. Circle time, where we come together as a group to share stories, read and have snack. Our days conclude with preparing and eating a healthy and tasty lunch together.
A Little Place To Grow is open to children ages 2-5 years old. By having children of different ages in the same class together, the older children learn patience and compassion while the younger children learn cooperation and innovation. We ask that children are on their way to potty training, able to feed themselves and are interested in participating with the group before enrolling..
The school day is from 9am-12pm. We offer flexibility in scheduling so you can find the right fit for your family but do strongly recommend you enroll your child a minimum of 2 days a week. This helps school become part of your child’s normal routine and also helps foster the relationships they will build with the other students.
